In recent years, city and regional authorities around the world have thrown efforts to support and develop ecosystems that will help transform original ideas into progressive technologies and implement solutions that make life more comfortable in territorial management. Today, smart cities with environmentally friendly transport, renewable energy sources, and complex infrastructure systems controlled by innovative IT solutions have ceased to be something unreal and fantastic.
Our region has significant scientific and innovative potential due to a long history of scientific success. Nevertheless, modern realities dictate new rules to us and pose new tasks for us, the solution of which requires the use of new technologies, both in science and in management.
To continue successful participation in the technology race, the regional leadership came up with the idea of creating an Agency for Innovative Development of the Ulyanovsk Region. After a series of meetings with key leaders, it was decided to create this agency on the basis of the center for the development of a nuclear innovation cluster, using many years of successful experience and accumulated competencies. The founders of ANO "AIR" were also the Government of the Ulyanovsk region and the Administration of the city of Dimitrovgrad. Albert Gataullin has been appointed director of ANO AIR.
ANO "AIR" is a specialized organization in the field of innovations, is engaged in the assessment, support and implementation of innovative projects. Together with government authorities and subjects of innovation infrastructure, ANO "AIR" ensures the creation of favorable conditions for the development of a competitive environment in the innovation sphere and support for small and medium-sized businesses in order to form a modern innovation system, create new innovative products and services. In addition, ANO "AIR" retains the functions of the center for the development of the cluster and the PSEDA "Dimitrovgrad".
The projects of ANO "AIR" will focus on developments from the most advanced areas: artificial intelligence, unmanned vehicles, nuclear medicine, nuclear energy, genetic engineering, and other areas according to the leadership profile of the scientific and technological development of the region. All high-tech projects, first of all, should meet the interests of the region and its inhabitants, as well as be useful for the country.
ANO "AIR" sets the most important goal to support young scientists and entrepreneurs, they need an opportunity to test their technologies, they need resources to enter markets, including international ones. This is where we see great potential.
Another important condition for the development of an innovation ecosystem is the presence of a business environment for communication between scientists, investors, entrepreneurs, customers and experts. ANO "AIR" will become a platform where you can present your projects, hold a seminar, get acquainted with representatives of various companies. Now each team that has a project can organize an event of any format (meeting, conference, forum, etc.) with the help of ANO "AIR", get advice on doing business, test innovative technologies, get scientific expertise of their developments.
For the realization of all the goals set by the leadership of the region for ANO "AIR", a development program has been drawn up. Today we are already working on organizing congress and exhibition activities, we participate in the largest forums of the country.
Looking ahead, we can announce the holding of an innovative forum, which is scheduled for autumn 2021. The Forum will become the largest platform for promoting research, production and innovation potential for all regions of the country.
