October, 1st, public hearings were held at the conference hall of Scientific and cultural center n.a. E.P. Slavsky. The topic was the project and land-survey plan of 1A residential area on Mendeleyeva str. The decision to build houses for the employees of SRC ARRI JSC was taken in 2010 at a joint meeting of the Ulyanovsk Government and State corporation “Rosatom”. The hearings were held by the Urban Development Committee of Dimitrovgrad City Hall and were attended by scientists of ARRI, Dimitrovgrad citizens, local authorities and members of the media.
During the discussions, Vladimir Svistunov, Acting Deputy Director on Capital Construction at SRC ARRI JSC, read his report. The questions from participants were answered by Mr. Svistunov himself and Olga Abramkina, Acting Chairman of Urban Development City Hall Committee. The project and land-survey plan of 1A residential area on Mendeleyeva str. did not provoke any objections. According to Olga Abramkina, the Urban Development Committee will recommend Head of local administration to approve the project of 1A residential area on Mendeleyeva str. After approval, SRC ARRI will be able to start the first stage development. ARRI is planning to start the construction of the new residential area in April, 2014 already.
