The forum was organized by JSC “SRC ARRI”, Dimitrovgrad Engineering Technological Institute (DETI NRNU MEPhI) and ANO “Center for Development of Nuclear Innovation Cluster of Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk Region”.
For three days, young scientists and specialists from ARRI, DETI students and innovative leaders from eight Russian regions took part in the forum, which included topical “round tables”, discussions with the participation of experts, business games, scientific quests.
“It is the second time the region hosts the forum. Next year we are planning to extend its format and attract more young scientists from already 14 institutes of our center. After two forums we’ve gained a lot of experience in management, which will help us to gather together all the specialists interested in development of the nuclear industry”, said Sergey Pavlov, head of JSC “SRC ARRI”.
According to Mr. Pavlov, today the institute has developed a set of measures to support young scientists. One of the most important constituents of this program is housing construction. Moreover, the wages of ARRI specialists has doubled for the past three years.
On the closing day, the forum was visited by head of the region – S.I. Morozov. Governor thanked the organizers with recognition letters and held a meeting with the youth.
“Dimitrovgrad is a city of science, new engineering and technological solutions. Thanks to Mr. Putin and the Russian Government, we are able to realize an ambitious project, which has no analogues in any other cities. About 110 bln. roubles are planned to invest in the development of ARRI only. Besides, in the nearest future we will start construction of a science campus - so to say “a city of future”. It is intended, firstly, for young specialists to provide comfortable accommodation to them on favorable terms”, said Sergey Morozov.
