The greatest event for the economies of Russian regions has taken place in the International multimedia RIA News press-center, Moscow. Conditions for cluster formation, development opportunities and actual results of cluster formation in every field of economy were discussed. The key topics were as follows: Investments in regional economies: state support of cluster development, legal system for hi-tech businesses and how to ensure effective work of state bodies in the sphere of investment attraction. Cluster foresight and marketing: integration of regional businesses in an innovational cluster and development of engineering, transportation, business and social infrastructures on the territories of clusters. Growth points of cluster initiatives: best techniques how to realize cluster initiatives of 2013 and presentations of new clusters. More than 300 members took part in the summit, among them were representatives of federal, regional and municipal legislative and executive bodies, of large industrial holdings, of grant funds, investment development agencies, centers for cluster development, as well as entrepreneurs, international and Russian experts.
The delegation of the Ulyanovsk region also took part in the summit. Its representatives were invited to the round tables: “Cluster strategies and investments in the development of regions”, “Cluster: foresight to practical techniques. Technological modernization in theory and practice”, “RVK for clusters”, “House construction for cluster development”.
Albert Gataullin, head of ANO “Center for development of nuclear innovation cluster of Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region” shares his impressions on the summit: “It is not the first time when businesses, authorities, scientists, foreign and Russian experts gather together to discuss cluster policy and development of regions. Every new stage in the development raises the importance of this issue. We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers of the summit for the possibility to take part in it, for their work. During the summit we arranged meetings with the representatives of RVK, Skolkovo and other organizations, and discussed further ways of cooperation and opportunities to create and realize new projects. I am sure we possess not only enough resources for that, but, mainly, willingness to work in this direction.”
