November, 28th, 2013, as part of a working visit of Sergey Morozov, Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, the Informational center of Nuclear Innovational Cluster was opened. The main aim of the center is to inform the population as promptly and widely as possible about the stages of development of NIC, about the achievements of NIC members, as well as to ensure publicity, transparency of the information about the projects in the nuclear industry, nuclear medicine, etc., to create the system of population feedback.
Currently, the center provides the information about basic projects of development of Dimitrovgrad. The information is displayed on mounts and layouts visualizing the project results. Of a greater interest were the mock-up models of the high-technology center of nuclear medicine, of the LBFR 100 nuclear plant and of polyfunctional radiochemical research complex. Next to the opening and visit to the exhibition went the meeting held in the conference-hall of the center and dedicated to the development of the NIC in Dimitrovgrad.
