February, 5th, Gennady Sakharov, Investments Director at SC Rosatom, during his meeting with Sergey Morozov, Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, made such an announcement.
City authorities, ARRI management and representatives of Moscow state construction university took part in the meeting dedicated to realization of investment and construction projects in Dimitrovgrad.
“Today, Ulyanovsk is one of the key regions to which Rosatom pays careful attention. In accordance with ground plans, we suggest investing more than 50 billion rubles (1.5 billion USD – editor). Main clients are ARRI and AKME-Engineering. A part of the sum is prepared for the installation of MFRR and LBFR reactors”, stated Gennady Sakharov.
Rosatom representatives visited the sites ready for the installation of Multifaceted Fast Research Reactor (MFRR) and Lead-Bismuth Fast Reactor (LBFR). Reminder: in 2013 ARRI got confirmation on construction of multifunctional radiochemical complex and started pre-construction works.
