The organizers were the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Ulyanovsk Region, the Agency for Innovative Development of the Region together with the Kuibyshev Railway and the YellowRockets team. The program is aimed at finding and implementing innovative projects and start-ups in the infrastructure of Russian Railways.
Experts of the Kuibyshev Railway shared their experience of innovation, talked about the main tools for interacting with external projects. The opportunities of Russian Railways for young entrepreneurs were presented. Also, the pitch session participants familiarized themselves with the terms of the UMNIK-Russian Railways competition, which is being implemented within the framework of the Innovation Promotion Foundation's Participant of the Youth Scientific and Innovative Competition. The representative of the Venture Fund of the Samara Region presented the main requirements of large corporations for the protection of projects, paying special attention to the requirements of Russian Railways.
The pitch session was attended by representatives of SMEs of the Ulyanovsk region, regional universities, research and production centers, including JSC Promservice, LLC MPG-F7, LLC Kompozit, LLC Promviar, LLC Business Information Systems, LLC "Prominformsystems", LLC "TAKAM-Digital Solutions", Ulyanovsk Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin, UFIRE them. V.A.Kotelnikov RAS, Federal Scientific and Practical Center of OJSC "Mars", as well as representatives of the Russian innovation company CPS LAB and many others.
Representatives of companies developing scientific, technical and innovative solutions presented their developments that meet the subject of requests of JSC "Russian Railways". All the proposals were somehow aimed at the development of the railway transport industry. In the near future, experts will select the best projects. The developers of the selected innovative solutions will receive individual advice on the possibilities of introducing their product into the business processes of railway transport, companies will be assisted in drawing up a feasibility study that meets the requirements of Russian Railways, the winners will be tested at the landfills of the Kuibyshev Railway and in the future will be able to supply the product to the network of JSC "Russian Railways".
In addition, it was decided that ANO "AIR" and JSC "Russian Railways" will be the organizers of the competition of innovative projects, which innovators from both the Ulyanovsk region and other regions will be able to participate in. The winners of the competition will be able to receive a grant and organizational support for the implementation of their ideas.
