October, 31st thru November, 2nd, Moscow welcomed Open Innovations International Forum dedicated to the newest technologies and to the opportunities for international cooperation in the sphere of innovations.
The following people took part in the forum: heads of federal executive bodies of the Russian Federation, government delegations from France and Finland, heads of leading global companies, outstanding scientists and experts of innovational business, foreign and Russian innovators. Open Innovations Forum again has become the largest event in Russia and one of the largest ones in the world showing the main trends and key achievements in innovational economy.
The members of Dimitrovgrad center for cluster development took part both in the forum and in the Open Expo exhibition, having its show items on the mount of the Ulyanovsk government.
The CCD demonstrated the miniature of the federal hi-tech nuclear medicine center which is being constructed at this time. Its construction is one of their projects. It had been demonstrated before, that is why it arouses keen interest since it proves to be real.
Also, our young scientists showed their newest developments – these are self-solvable intravascular implants for high-technology medicine, and dysprosium hafnate, borom carbide, hafnium hydride, europium oxide pills for the control rod with high performance characteristics for active and innovational nuclear power plants of generation IV. These developments aroused genuine interest among the participants which proves how important they are.
Besides, the CCD members took part in the forum itself: they visited plenary meetings and round tables.
Albert Gataullin shared his impressions on the forum with us: “I’ve got only the great impressions. Our aim was to show our projects which are no worse than the newest developments by both Russian and foreign scientists. We also had planned and managed to arrange some meetings with our potential partners: SC Rosatom, RVK JSC, SC Vneshekonombank, National community of business-angels of Russia, representatives from MD USA, “T-Platform” company, as well as regional cluster centers of Russia. We understand the agreements we have come up to at these meetings are only intentional now, but we believe this is a very fertile ground for further productive cooperation. With good reason, such forums are supposed to be a communication site for forward-minded people.”
