Every year in December Moscow welcomes the participants of the forum of the nuclear industry suppliers from all over the world. The delegation from the Ulyanovsk region also took part in it.
It’s the fifth time when experts gather together to discuss some acute problems. The forums aims at
- attracting new suppliers into the nuclear industry,
- improving the quality of purchased equipment and services,
- ensuring the transparency of purchasing procedure,
- increasing the competency in the sphere of purchase,
- ensuring higher efficiency in using the investment resources while constructing and exploiting the nuclear facilities,
- extending the communication between industrial enterprises and existing and potential business partners.
At the opening Serge Kirienko greeted the participants: “This year we are already organizing the V Forum of nuclear industry suppliers ATOMEX 2013. Throughout the whole time of the Forum, more than 650 Russian and foreign nuclear companies have become new suppliers of SC Rosatom members. Today, ATOMEX forum is surely a full-scale site with international partners, where key innovations in the process of purchasing and delivering modern equipment of high quality for nuclear industry are discussed. An evidence-based dialogue between customers and suppliers of products and services is very important for optimization of the process. This dialogue helps to find the solutions to shorten the time, to eliminate the barriers for a wider range of participants in the purchasing process. In the end, all this results in less expenses.”
Besides, another part of the forum is the exhibition of the suppliers of nuclear equipment and services, and the International conference.
In the Forum the customers were represented by heads and experts of SC Rosatom, by key industrial companies, as well as by the representatives of existing atomic power stations.
Again, ATOMEX forum has become a center of attraction for specialists, a main industrial site providing the suppliers with the opportunity to show their products and services to customers directly.
