The corresponding “road map” aimed at the development and implementation of innovative solutions on the railway transport was signed on June 21 by the First Deputy Prime Minister Marina Alekseeva and the Chief Engineer of the Kuybyshev Railways of Russian Railways Vyacheslav Dmitriev.
Recall the alignment of interaction with large state-owned companies and state corporations today is one of the priorities set by Governor Sergey Morozov. On June 20-21, the Council of Chief Engineers of the Russian Railways OJSC Kuybyshev Railways arrived in the region on a working visit. Participants in the business mission visited high-tech enterprises in the region DMG MORI, Ulyanovsk Instrument Engineering Design Bureau, Ulyanovsk Nanotechnology Center ULNANOTECH, and also exchanged best practices in economic activities in such sectors as lean manufacturing, digitalization, personnel management, R&D, the use of renewable sources energy.
“The Ulyanovsk region has become another region that will work with Russian Railways in introducing innovative technologies. I hope for a very fruitful cooperation, ”noted Vyacheslav Dmitriev.
As Marina Alekseeva, First Deputy Prime Minister of the region, noted, in the framework of the direct line, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the main reserve of economic growth is productivity growth. Projects initiated by such companies as the Kuybyshev branch of Russian Railways are aimed at improving the efficiency of the company, both at the macro and at the micro level.
The document signed by the parties includes 48 innovative developments of enterprises and companies of the Ulyanovsk region. In particular, the “road map” includes seven projects of residents of the Ulyanovsk nanocenter of ULNANOTECH - companies “KarbonLab”, “RuGadzhet”, “RVR.Studio” with a implementation period of up to 2021.
We are talking about the development of paints and varnishes for infrastructure and rolling stock, intelligent lighting and power supply systems, a virtual or augmented reality facility to improve traffic safety and the quality of personnel training, as well as an algorithm for remote heating of a diesel locomotive. In addition, the resident companies ULNANOTECH plan to develop for Russian Railways prototypes of the power supply system distant from the power lines of facilities, warning systems for workers and repair crews about the approach of rolling stock and the device that will provide demagnetization of rails in the zone of insulating joints.
According to Dmitry Pak, general director of the Ulyanovsk nanocenter, the implementation of the proposed projects in practice will improve the technological processes in railway transport, improve the economic efficiency and the quality of the enterprise, and most importantly - the safety of passengers.
Also, the “roadmap” includes four projects in the field of energy conservation and energy supply of remote facilities, IT, implemented by companies participating in the nuclear innovation cluster of the city of Dimitrovgrad of the Ulyanovsk region: “Autonomous heating systems”, PRIZ LLC, PromService JSC.
