This is how many enrollers decided to hand in their applications in NRNU MEPhI. This number is significantly higher, compared to 700 enrollers in 2012. In many respects, such a high interest in our university is due to a stronger position of NRNU MEPhI in Russian and international top lists. This year our university has confirmed its high status by becoming one of the winners in an all-Russian competition of universities for the right to take part in the state program of competitive growth among leading world educational centers. This is another reason why school-leavers chose our university. Only 15 best Russian universities have won the competition, just 4 of them being from Moscow.
This year, the number of enrollers has increased nearly at all the specializations. A special attention should be paid to the “Nuclear stations: designing, running and engineering” degree: overall there were 150 applications, while the number of state-funded places was only 15; the number of special-purpose program participants has significantly increased as well. This proves an obvious interest of school-leavers to one of the most innovative and promising industries of Russia – nuclear industry.
