Dimitrovgrad doctors, professors and students of DITI NRNU MEPhI took part in a Russia-Germany conference which mainly aimed at mutual exchange of experiences in treatment of oncological diseases, and getting to know how German doctors cure cancer. The organizer of this event is the information center of nuclear energy in Ulyanovsk.
The following representatives of Russian and German oncological communities took part in the conference:
Mikhail Plotkin – Doctor of Medicine, Head of Institute of nuclear medicine Vivantes clinic, associate professor at nuclear medicine dpt. of Charite;
Robert Krempin – professor, Doctor of Medicine, medical director of X-ray Therapy Dpt. at HELIOS clinic, Buch, Berlin;
Klemens Scheidhauer – professor, Doctor of Medicine, medical director of Rechts der Isar nuclear medicine clinic at Munich Technical university;
Sergey Novikov – Doctor of Medicine, leading researcher at Radiation Oncology and Radiological Methods Dpt. of FSBI “Research Institute of Oncology n.a. N.N. Petrov” at the Ministry of Healthcare of Russia;
Valery Krylov – Doctor of Medicine, chief of Radionuclide Therapy Dpt. at FSBI “Medical Radiological Research Center” of the Ministry of Healthcare.
The conference participants noticed how unconditionally acute the discussed topic is and expressed their gratitude to the organizers for offering an opportunity to meet their European colleagues and to get very important and useful information.
